101 BEGINNING QUILTING: 4 –5 students per class
Learn the basics of machine quilting. I will cover the care of your machine, properly loading a quilt, and adjusting tension. An overview of running a quilting business will be discussed. I will give you the resources to locate your supplies and what supplies to keep on hand. E-mail me for dates and more information.
201 BEGINNING FREEHAND
QUILTING
4-7
students per class
I
will show you how to get out of the box and have fun with your quilting. Each
student will take home their class sample. We will do back ground fillers,
feathers, and more. It’s fun and liberating.

202 FREEHAND
WHOLE-CLOTH QUILTING:
2-3 students per class
In this class you will have the opportunity to finish a whole-cloth wall hanging. We will use cotton sateen and Reingold poly sheen threads. You will be so impressed with your finished item. E-mail me for dates and more information.
302 THREAD PAINTING WITH ACRYLICS:

Students will begin by marking the material with a pattern and learn the techniques of painting with acrylic paints, then complete their work with thread painting at the quilting machine. By using the paints you will not have to use so much thread. E-mail me for dates and more information.
401 EMBELLISHING READY-MADE
CLOTHING:
4-5 students per class

will show how to load ready-made garments on the quilting machine for
embellishment.
We will also take a
ready-made sweatshirt and transform it into a beautiful jacket.

402 WHOLE-CLOTH VEST:
4-5 students per class
Learn
how to mark and size a vest. You
will be shown how to use those printed materials and create an exquisite garment
using specialty threads.

501 PORTFOLIO:
4-7 students per class
In this class, you will make a fabric portfolio by quilting the material, adding grommets, binding, and attaching handles. You will learn what to include in your portfolio to show examples of your best work. E-mail me for dates and more information.
